Meditation
The group meditation is currently held monthly in nature with my herd. No horse experience necessary and all meditation experience is welcomed. Come ground, breathe and meditate with the horses.
The Latin word for “ponder”, meditari, is the root of meditate. Meditation is a practice to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention – in some ways the ability to transform the mind.
How much of your day is spent living within the mind?
By learning to meditate and practicing meditation regularly either by the self or within a group, an individual can observe many benefits including a calmer state of being, more peace, ability to regulate the emotions better, reduced stress and more inner joy.
There are many different techniques for meditation.
Our group sessions involve breath-work to prepare the body for meditation and start the centering process in preparation to entering the paddock with the horses. I work with a semi-guided meditation approach to further focus the mind in the present allowing individuals’ to drop deeper into the inner stillness of all that is. Meditating with horses invites a profound sense of calm and connection. Their grounded, intuitive presence guides us into stillness, helping us return to balance, open-hearted awareness, and a deeper connection with ourselves.
The group meditation is currently held monthly in Margaret River. All meditation experience is welcomed and no horse experience necessary.
